Terms of Service – Commissioned ArtworkThis Agreement is between the artist (hereinafter “Seller”) and the commissioning party (hereinafter “Customer”). The commissioned work is referred to as “Product”.By making any payment, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service. These Terms override any contrary statements or implied terms unless expressly agreed in writing.1. COMMENCEMENT & REFERENCE MATERIAL1.1 To start a commission, the Seller requires either:(a) a reference sheet, or(b) at least one descriptive reference images.If insufficient references are provided, the Seller will interpret the brief at their discretion. This interpretation will be shown to the Customer for approval, but changes will be limited to the revision rights set out in section 4.1.2 The Customer is entitled to five (5) complete revisions during the sketch stage. Minor edits after final delivery are allowed without charge, provided they meet the definition in section 4.2.1.3 Any further revisions or significant changes outside these limits will be chargeable at the Seller’s prevailing rates.2. PAYMENTS2.1 Orders under £40: 100% payable upfront.2.2 Orders of £40 or more: 50% non-refundable deposit payable upfront; balance due on approval of the initial sketch.2.3 Work will not commence until the relevant payment is received in cleared funds.2.4 All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling (£), with the Customer bearing all currency conversion and transfer costs.2.5 No rights (including display or reproduction rights) pass to the Customer until full payment is received.3. DELIVERY
3.1 Final Product will be delivered digitally to the email address supplied by the Customer after full payment.3.2 Alternative delivery methods must be agreed in advance and any additional costs paid by the Customer.3.3 The Seller is not responsible for technical issues on the Customer’s side (e.g. spam filters, file loss).3.4 Seller will retain the original files for 30 days after delivery. Beyond this period, storage is not guaranteed.3.5 The Seller reserves the right to post the completed Product in their portfolio and on their preferred social media accounts unless the Customer expressly requests otherwise in writing before delivery. Lack of such discussion or request will be deemed as consent to the Seller posting the work on their own socials.4. REVISIONS & EDITS4.1 Sketch Stage – Customer has up to five (5) complete revisions included in the price.4.2 Minor Edits After Completion – Defined as adjustments taking less than 10% of the total creation time, e.g. small colour tweaks or detail refinements.4.3 Any request exceeding the above is treated as a new commission or additional work subject to a new invoice.4.4 Additional work will not commence until payment for such work is received.5. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS5.1 The 50% deposit on orders of £40 or more is non-refundable once work has started.5.2 Refunds will only be given if the Seller fails to deliver within an agreed timeline and the delay is solely due to the Seller’s fault, excluding force majeure events.5.3 If, after payment of the commission, the Customer fails to respond to any message from the Seller or to any progress update within two (2) consecutive months, the commission will be cancelled and no refunds will be made.5.4 Seller may cancel any order at any stage for any reason. If cancelled without Customer fault, a proportionate refund will be given.5.5 Disrespectful or abusive behaviour from the Customer will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.6. USAGE RIGHTS6.1 Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Product is licensed for personal use only.6.2 Commercial use, resale, reproduction, publication, or use in any blockchain, NFT, AI dataset, or AI training tool is prohibited without a separate commercial licence agreement and fee.6.3 Breach of this clause automatically terminates any licence granted and entitles the Seller to damages.7. LIABILITY7.1 The Seller’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the Product.7.2 The Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.8. GOVERNING LAW8.1 This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.8.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Polished
A ‘polished’ drawing is cleaned up and shaded over with funky colours. They’re pretty things to look as compared to a reference sheet which is used for a purpose.
